I have produced this blog for my Media AS coursework, my aim for this unit is to produce a 2 minute film opening sequence of a genre of my choice. I will be working in a group with Tayla Powell and Chloe King.
For this unit, we are given ten weeks to complete the coursework, and in the ten weeks we have aimed to complete and include the following:
- Research into genre - including the codes and conventions
- Textual analysis of a 2 minute clip
- Storyboard
- Shot uses
- Location scouting - take photos of possible locations
- Props - organising what to use i.e. costumes
- Instiution research - production company, distribution studios
- Logo design and analysis
- Audience analysis - questionnaire, define the audience, what they consume and their likes and dislikes
- Plot summary
