Week 1 - Action Plan:

For the first week, we as a group have decided that we will be doing the following:


Brainstorm genres

• Brainstorming a variety of film genres which we could be possibly using for the 2 minute opening film sequence we are going to be creating.

Research into different genres

• We have individually researched two genres, to get a better understanding of each genre. I have chosen to do romance and fantasy, Chloe has chosen to do thriller and drama, and Tayla has chosen to research on horror and action.

Decide on a genre for the film opening

• After researching into different film genres, we will be coming to a decision on what genre we will base our film on, this could be using two genres.

Textual analysis's of films that fit the genre we are basing our film on

• Each of us will be writing a detailed textual analysis of a film that will fit into the genre we are using.
